Architectural Photography is a speciality. It’s technical, exacting and requires vision. Post-production is an integral part of the final presentation and the photographers ability to capture crisp, accurate images is key to success. The photographer needs to understand light, color, composition, technique but that’s not all. In order fully comprehend the role of the photographer, beyond the mechanics of reproducing images, the photographer should understand the needs of the client, even more than the client’s desire to just show the work they do. Today images are used for marketing, for brand recognition, for building an amazing reputation that helps them get cover stories, win awards, standout in a competitive field and win desirable clients. The photographer has to capture how a place feels, not just looks.
This is Patricia’s speciality. For over a decade she has worked for ASID and NKBA Builders Designers and Architects in San Diego and now in Saint Augustine Florida. Her work has been used in magazine features and on covers. Her understanding of photography as a marketing tool has been presented and published both locally and nationally.
